Artificial intelligence (AI) is on the rise. But how does it exactly work? In what way will it influence our life?
This workshop is meant to help you get a better understanding of AI, machine learning and the ethical questions that rise when you implement these technologies in society. During hands-on exercises you’ll get the chance to play with demos, train your own machine learning model based on facial recognition and design your own creations with Generative Adversarial Networks. Cutting edge applications will be presented and we will have discussions about ethical concerns surrounding the technology.
All of this will be done without any coding or math. This means everyone with any background is able to join. In a short lecture Tomo Kihara will introduce AI & machine learning. After this we will play with demo’s, machine learning models and with Generative Adversarial Networks. Finally we will discuss the ethical concerns surrounding the technology.
Participants should bring their own laptop and the programme is in English.
