An innovative concept combining a fashion brand and a multidisciplinary experimentation lab. The Ephemeral Fashion Lab (EFL) designs and manufactures mono-material fashion products, with an open-source approach, through up-cycling biomaterial into compostable fashion. In the scope of Fabricademy final project, an extensive material research was conducted in order to design and craft the best biomaterial suitable for bags and accessories. The final result: a capsule collection of bags made exclusively out of biomaterials, using digital fabrication techniques in opposition to traditional sewing methods.
